Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Special Risk Assistant Vice President (Major Hubs) to lead brokerage and consulting for large market clients. You will mentor teams, manage day-to-day client service, and drive cross-selling opportunities across Aon practices while ensuring profitability and compliance.

The role emphasizes strategic advisory on plan design, market strategy, and risk financing, reporting to the Local Practice Leader in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a consulting firm, professional services, or insurance carrier.
• Proven project management and analytical abilities with execution experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide brokerage and consulting services to large market clients across programs.
• Manage day-to-day client needs, coordinate the service team and timelines.
• Mentor and train junior colleagues, oversee workflow and development.
• Manage projects and deliverables including financial projections and stewardship reports.
• Demonstrate expertise in BTA plan design, pricing strategy, RFPs, vendor negotiations.
• Build strong client, carrier, and internal stakeholder relationships.
