Job summary

State Street Corporation's State Street Investment Management is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive transformation, improve efficiency, and enable rapid innovation across the Client Experience team. The role requires a self-motivated leader who can operate at strategic and execution levels while proactively guiding stakeholders.

You will manage cross‑functional initiatives, support senior leadership with OKRs and roadmaps, oversee governance, and produce executive updates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the investment industry with 2-5+ years project management experience.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder, matrix environment.
• Understanding of mutual funds, ETFs, and institutional funds across data domains.
• Independent worker who can implement plans fully and quickly acquire new skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management and coordination of cross-functional strategic alignment initiatives.
• Support Client Experience senior leadership in OKRs, strategy, blueprints, and roadmaps.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement across State Street IM and the broader enterprise.
• Partner with vendors and external groups to identify best practices and trends.
• Prepare executive presentations and recommendations for leadership decisions.
• Lead governance bodies and workstream meetings; manage project plans and milestones.
• Track milestones, budget, scope changes, and KPIs; deliver status reports.
• Drive projects to completion while managing risk, budget, scope, and timeline.
• Oversee initiation, planning, execution, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
• Foster innovation by leveraging AI tools and identifying meaningful AI use cases.
