Job summary

Ares Management is seeking an Associate Vice President to join the Public Credit Financial Planning & Analysis team. Based in our New York, Boston or Los Angeles offices, this role focuses on building fund projection models, forecasting, and high-impact corporate finance strategy.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10+ years in FP&A or related fields, strong Excel modeling, and experience with Anaplan or similar tools.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years FP&A, corporate finance, accounting or related experience.
• Strong Excel modeling skills; willingness to learn new systems to automate processes.
• Experience with Anaplan or similar modeling tools is a plus.
• Background in financial services, alternative investing or private credit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain fund projection models for public and private funds.
• Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses for senior management.
• Lead automation initiatives of forecast models with AI and data tech, using Anaplan.
• Coordinate with fund accounting, investor relations, portfolio management and other teams.
• Organize data for lenders, investors and rating agencies.
