Job summary

Ares Management is seeking an Associate Vice President for its FP&A team in Rochester, NY. This role focuses on building and maintaining fund projection models, supporting corporate strategy, and driving automation across finance processes.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to gather inputs, prepare scenario analyses, and present findings to lenders and investors. A strong finance background, excellent Excel skills, and effective communication are essential, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• 7-10+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills for financial modeling.
• Experience with Anaplan or similar modeling software is a plus.
• Good understanding of fund financial statements.
• Strong communication skills for presentations and meetings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
