Job summary

New York City Economic Development Corporation is seeking an AVP of Field Operations and Maintenance to lead the Vacant/Development Lots and Area Maintenance programs across five boroughs. The role includes budgeting, procurement, reporting, and coordinating field crews to ensure optimal service delivery on City-owned sites.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of supervisory experience, TWIC certification, and a valid driver’s license with NYC residency within 180 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in facilities management or related field.
• 5+ years of program operations and field supervision experience.
• TWIC certification required.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and NYC residency within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day management of Vacant/Development Lots and Area Maintenance programs across NYC.Oversee field staff, supervisors, and partners to ensure service delivery.
• Monitor scheduling, logistics, equipment, and procurement for operational needs.
• Prepare and manage the program budget and expenditures.
