Job summary

Selective Insurance is seeking a senior manager to supervise AMS activities and drive profitability across assigned territories within the region. You will train, coach, and partner with underwriting and sales teams to meet budgets while maintaining regulatory compliance and strong agency relationships.

In this role you will travel 20-50% of the time to visit agents, monitor performance, and implement strategies for market share, product alignment, and service excellence across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 6 years of underwriting, agency management and marketing experience.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Preferred: 3 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes profitable business through supervision, training, coaching, and monitoring of AMS activities and goals.
• Monitor adherence to underwriting guidelines and provide feedback to AMS/Agent.
• Work with field operations to achieve regional financial goals.
• Establish procedures to ensure service standards with AMS staff.
• Oversee activities, workflows, and productivity to ensure compliance with standards.
• Promote use of technology to improve efficiency and service.
• Identify weaknesses and implement improvement plans for AMS staff.
• Collaborate in regional meetings and strategy sessions.
