Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) seeks an Assistant Vice President, End-to-End Program Manager, to drive large, cross-functional programs from initiation to rollout in Boston. You will align senior leaders, define governance, and ensure programs deliver business outcomes that support global growth.

With 10+ years in program management, you will lead complex initiatives across underwriting, operations, finance, legal, compliance, technology and data.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program management experience leading large, cross-functional programs in insurance or financial services.
• Strong hands-on project and program management expertise with focus on execution and outcomes.
• Deep understanding of property and casualty insurance business functions.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Program Delivery: lead large, cross-functional programs from initiation through rollout and stabilization.
• Program Structuring & Execution Discipline: define scope, goals, governance, and delivery approach.
• Hands-On Program Management: drive day-to-day planning, tracking, issue resolution, and coordination across workstreams.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: align business and functional teams, manage dependencies.
• Stakeholder Leadership: partner with senior leaders, lead steering committees, provide status and risk visibility.
• Decision Management & Accountability: facilitate structured decision-making and ownership clarity.
• Risk & Issue Management: identify, surface, and mitigate risks and blockers.
• Business Readiness & Go-Live Oversight: drive organizational readiness, training, rollout planning, and go-live alignment.
• Enterprise-Level Coordination: provide structure and visibility across the organization.
