Job summary

Axos Bank seeks an Assistant Vice President to lead and scale the distribution efforts of its integrated Broker-Dealer and RIA platform. You will guide a team of six Financial Consultants and drive AUM growth, reporting to the CIO, with a focus on sales, training, and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership in asset management distribution, deep knowledge of investment products, and FINRA licensing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in asset or wealth management distribution with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio construction, and financial planning.
• Proven ability to coach and develop financial advisors in technical and sales skills.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 required; Series 24 preferred; Series 63/65 considered.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or CFA/CFP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of six Financial Consultants across the country.
• Design and execute national distribution strategies to grow AUM and revenue.
• Deliver training on investment products, asset allocation, and sales effectiveness.
• Serve as a player-coach in client meetings and investment proposals.
• Collaborate with the CIO to align distribution with investment philosophy and processes.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and advisor productivity with KPIs.
• Ensure FINRA/SEC compliance and supervisory oversight of sales practices.
• Contribute to strategic growth, advisor recruiting, and distribution infrastructure.
