LPL Financial is seeking an AVP Tech, DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership for Enterprise DevSecOps and drive improvements in developer experience, delivery velocity, quality, and security across cloud and CI/CD ecosystems.

The role partners with engineering teams and platform providers to set strategy, define roadmaps, implement scalable solutions, and promote operational excellence. Strong collaboration across multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

8+ years of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience across multiple technology disciplines with 5+ years of hands‑on enterprise CI/CD
5+ years automating, deploying, and managing AWS cloud-based apps and infra
2+ years with container orchestration (e.g., Amazon EKS, OpenShift)
1+ year implementing feature flags, Blue‑Green deployments in enterprise environments
Experience across CI/CD, Container Orchestration, Infra Automation, Monitoring, Security and Compliance

Responsibilities

Lead initiatives to improve developer experience and accelerate software delivery
Drive operational excellence for 24x7x365 connected services
Develop enterprise CI/CD strategies and roadmaps
Establish standards aligning engineering outcomes with business priorities
Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Platform Eng., QA, Cloud Eng., and Release Mgmt teams
Create deployment standards and automation frameworks for enterprise adoption
Continuously improve deployment processes and tooling
Use data-driven approaches to prioritize platform enhancements
