Job summary
LPL Financial is seeking an AVP Tech, DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership for the Enterprise DevSecOps Engineering team. You will drive initiatives to improve developer experience, delivery velocity, quality, and security across cloud and CI/CD ecosystems.
In this role you will partner with engineering leadership to define roadmaps, establish deployment standards, and promote scalable DevOps practices across product teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of SDLC experience across multiple technology disciplines, with 5+ years building enterprise CI/CD solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud experience.
- 2+ years with container orchestration platforms (EKS or OpenShift).
- 1+ year implementing feature flag strategies and Blue-Green deployments in enterprise environments.
- Experience across CI/CD, Container Orchestration, Configuration Management, Infrastructure Automation, Monitoring & Observability, Security & Compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering initiatives to improve developer experience and accelerate software delivery.
- Promote operational excellence for services supporting 24x7x365 operations.
- Develop enterprise CI/CD strategies and roadmaps from business and tech requirements.
- Set standards aligning engineering outcomes with business priorities.
- Scale DevOps practices across product teams and platforms.
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps and deployment standards.
