Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP Tech, DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership for the Enterprise DevSecOps Engineering team. You will shape DevOps strategy, define roadmaps, and implement scalable, secure CI/CD solutions across cloud environments.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Security, Platform Engineering, and Change & Release Management teams to drive operational excellence and improve developer productivity across product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years SDLC experience across multiple tech disciplines.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS cloud deployments.
• 2+ years container orchestration with EKS or OpenShift.
• 1+ year feature flags and Blue-Green deployments.
• Experience across CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, GitOps, security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives to improve developer experience and accelerate software delivery.
• Drive operational excellence for 24x7x365 enterprise services.
• Develop enterprise CI/CD strategies and objectives from stakeholder requirements.
• Establish standards aligning engineering outcomes with business priorities.
• Promote DevOps practices across product teams and scale deployment processes.
• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Create deployment standards and automation frameworks for enterprise adoption.
• Continuously improve deployment tooling and engineering practices.
• Use data-driven approaches to prioritize platform enhancements.
• Understand business capabilities and technology dependencies end-to-end.
• Drive automation to improve developer productivity and platform capabilities.
• Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business goals.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and Platform teams on scalable solutions.
