Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; Master’s preferred in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of underwriting experience with at least 5 years in management.
• CPCU certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements strategic objectives, underwriting strategies and best practices with substantial impact on Construction.
• Drives profitability, growth and operational efficiency for Construction through risk assessment and market analysis.
• Ensures adherence to underwriting authority, audit criteria, and governance for Construction.
• Collaborates with underwriting, risk control, actuarial, claims, operations and compliance teams to address governance and compliance issues.
• Mentors others and contributes to underwriting training and development.
