This role blends technical underwriting expertise with relationship management and strategic sales to drive profitable growth.

Qualifications

5+ years of underwriting construction segments experience.
Strong knowledge of General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Auto coverages.
Expertise in guaranteed cost construction business is ideal.
Retail brokerage network base in CA territory is required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate new and renewal submissions, identifying exposures and structuring tailored guaranteed cost construction business.
Underwrite General Liability, W/C and Auto coverage.
Cover General Contractors, Specialty Trades, Heavy Construction, etc.
Analyze risk, pricing, and coverage terms; develop and present competitive proposals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retail brokers in the local assigned territory.
Drive new business through strategic positioning and pipeline development.
