Job summary

Vantage Risk is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Underwriting for its Construction team. This remote/hybrid role underwrites professional and pollution liability for contractors, design professionals, and environmental service providers according to guidelines and authority levels.

Reporting to the SVP, Head of Construction Professional & Environmental Lines, you will work with brokers and clients to deploy CPP products, analyze complex risks, and manage underwriting transactions with a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–10 years related insurance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Construction Professional & Environmental Lines.
• Established network of broker and client contacts.
• Experience with digital platforms and automation.
• Strong stakeholder/relationship management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Review submissions for alignment with risk appetite and strategy.
• Generate new business with brokers and clients to deploy CPP products.
• Analyze complex risks and unusual transaction structures.
• Underwrite transactions with adherence to service standards and regulatory rules.
• Engage with internal and external contacts to ensure high service levels.
• Collaborate with partners to meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Support ongoing operations and adapt to changing responsibilities.
