Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is looking for an Assistant Vice President responsible for technical underwriting and account management of large account construction casualty programs. The position offers hybrid or remote options based in locations like Minneapolis, Chicago, and St. Louis.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in underwriting and a thorough understanding of Workers Compensation and General Liability. Competitive salary of $150,000 - $190,000 per year, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of underwriting experience in the construction industry.
• Established broker relationships within the Central Region preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicits and reviews new and renewal account information.
• Assesses insurance and financial risks and structures programs.
• Develops relationships with producers to achieve profitability goals.

Skills

Understanding of Workers Compensation

Loss sensitive programs knowledge

Exposure identification and analysis

Cross functional knowledge in claims and legal

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training

CPCU or similar designation
