Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) invites applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Commissioning Executive at its Delivery Service Office. The position is based at 2 Broadway and includes a telework option one day per week, with travel to other MTA locations as needed.

The AVP will oversee commissioning for complex facilities and signaling systems throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through warranty, reporting to the Vice President, Project Executive.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, architecture, construction or project management, facilities management, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of fourteen (14) years of related experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years in a management or supervisory role and/or a project manager role in a large, multi-faceted organization.

Responsabilidades

• Provides guidance and quick decisions in evaluating facilities, signal and telecommunication systems, and/or infrastructure systems.
• Accountable for the commissioning process and achievement of project performance requirements.
• Interacts with regulatory authorities for system safety documentation and assurance.
• Oversees the entire commissioning program and sets expectations for a clear strategy to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operation.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Facilities Management, or a related field

Master's degree (preferred)
