The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Construction & Development seeks an Assistant Vice President, Deputy Project Executive in New York to lead complex Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) and head-end train control projects from planning through closeout.

The role requires 14+ years in signaling or train control programs, a relevant engineering degree, and proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of fourteen (14) years related experience in ATS/Signals & Train Control programs.
• Experience delivering major ATS modernization and project lifecycle leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ATS/Head-End Train Control projects from planning to closeout.
• Coordinate design, procurement, integration, testing, commissioning and operational readiness.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and contractor performance.
• Provide strategic leadership and executive-level communication to stakeholders.
