Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Deputy Project Executive to lead complex ATS and head-end train control projects from definition through closeout. The role requires deep program leadership, risk management, and coordination with multiple internal teams, vendors, and operating agencies.

Qualifications

14+ years related experience, including management of head end train control programs
Significant experience delivering large transit signaling/ATS projects
Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple contracts

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor staff to deliver complex ATS and train control projects
Coordinate system integration, testing, and cutover activities
Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and safety across projects
Ensure compliance with technical requirements, safety standards, and contractual terms
Provide executive-level reporting and strategic guidance to senior management
