Job summary

Gesa Credit Union seeks an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Branches – Eastern Region to lead branches and their teams in delivering exceptional member experiences and building relationships that improve financial well‑being for members and communities. This role provides coaching, development, and hands‑on support to Branch Market Managers and oversees multiple market areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent job experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of five (5) years of retail branch management experience.
• Two (2) years of experience leading multiple retail branch locations and managers preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, computer and reporting applications, software, and credit union programs.
• Regular travel within assigned market areas and to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and support sales initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborate with department leaders to maintain a motivated staff.
• Mentor and lead staff development through coaching and meetings.
• Lead budget development and cost efficiency enhancements for the division.
