Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a skilled analytics and reporting professional to join our New York team. You will develop executive dashboards, analyze client and product performance, and partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and reporting requirements.

You will leverage Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku and Tableau, with strong SQL and Python capabilities, to deliver accurate, timely insights and influence strategic decisions within Private Markets, Wealth Management, and related businesses.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor degree and 3+ years in analytics and reporting within financial services.
• Experience creating executive reporting, dashboards, scorecards and performance analyses.
• Proficiency with modern data platforms and analytics tools (Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Tableau).
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint, capable of producing executive-ready decks.
• SQL and Python skills with ability to manipulate large datasets and validate results.

Responsibilities

• Produce and enhance recurring management reporting and executive-ready dashboards providing visibility into performance.
• Analyze business performance across customer lifecycle and translate into insights for stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal/Compliance and Technology to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Support forecasting, target setting and leadership materials with trend analyses and scenario assessments.
• Develop ad hoc analyses to evaluate growth opportunities and operating challenges.
• Maintain controls over reporting outputs by validating data and documenting business logic.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
• Manage projects from requirements through delivery, coordinating stakeholders and risks.
