Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President of Client Engagement Analytics within Wealth Management to drive the analytics strategy for Financial Planning. You will translate business questions into rigorous analyses, unify data across platforms, and deliver executive-ready insights and dashboards.

The role requires hands-on data work, leadership of a global analytics team including offshore resources, and collaboration with Legal/Compliance to ensure governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of analytics experience in financial services and 3–5+ years leading teams.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; 5+ years hands-on data analysis and insight generation.
• Extensive BI experience with reporting, automation, data viz tools; experience with big data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the analytics strategy for Financial Planning and Wealth Management.
• Unify planning activity data and client/advisor insights across platforms; translate questions into rigorous analyses.
• Deliver core performance reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and leadership insights.
• Partner with SMEs and tech teams to standardize KPI definitions and data assets.
• Lead and mentor analytics team and offshore resources; ensure governance with Legal/Compliance.
