Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks an Executive AVP for Model & AI Governance to lead the enterprise framework for model risk, responsible AI, and AI governance. You will ensure safe, ethical, transparent use of AI across the organization and partner with senior leaders to align risk, data, privacy, and compliance functions.

You will own governance standards, risk assessments, validation, monitoring, and reporting, and report to executive management and Board committees as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in risk management, model risk management, AI governance, or related fields.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide model governance or AI risk programs.
• Ability to communicate complex risk topics to executive leadership and board.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously enhance the enterprise model governance framework.
• Define model risk appetite, taxonomy and escalation thresholds.
• Provide effective challenge over model development, validation, and monitoring.
• Develop Responsible AI framework and governance standards.
• Lead risk committees and report to executive management and Board Committees.
