Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Vice President, Scaled Operations and Transformation to lead the AI&D operating system, enablement, and cross-functional mechanisms enabling scalable, high-performing AI&D execution. The AVP connects AI&D leadership with Product, Data, AI/DS, Technology, Finance, HR, and partners to accelerate scale and reduce friction.

The role centers on four capabilities: Operating Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Partner Enablement, and Enterprise AI Literacy.

Qualifications

• Executive leader with 7+ years of transformation experience or 10+ years across tech and operations
• Advanced degrees in business, technology, data, or related field
• Experience designing and scaling enterprise operating models across global delivery

Responsibilities

• Define AI/D operating standards, governance, and decision rights to enable scalable execution
• Lead cross-enterprise interventions spanning pillars, functions, and geographies
• Drive capacity, workforce planning, and capability development for AI/D initiatives
• Oversee partner/vendor engagement and adoption of enterprise AI tools and practices
• Foster learning, literacy, and capability development across the organization
