Job summary

Amgen is seeking an executive leader to unify AI&D operating models and enable scalable execution. The AVP, Scaled Operations and Transformation will align strategy with governance, performance metrics, and workforce plans across Product, Data, AI/DS, Technology, and HR.

You will drive capacity planning, continuous improvement, and partner enablement while shaping enterprise capabilities. The role requires extensive transformation leadership, global team management, and a track record of

Qualifications

• Doctorate, 7+ years transformation experience OR
• Master’s, 10+ years transformation experience OR
• Bachelor’s, 12+ years transformation experience
• 7+ years of managerial experience leading people or programs

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve AI&D operating models, governance, and standards for consistent execution.
• Establish KPIs, operating reviews, and management mechanisms for insights into outcomes and health.
• Coordinate external partners with capability owners; ensure milestones and value delivery.
• Lead enterprise learning and capability development, including roadmaps and certification mechanisms.
• Lead cross-enterprise interventions spanning AI&D pillars, functions, and geographies.
