State Street seeks an experienced Assistant Vice President, Account Operations Specialist to support core account lifecycle operations across our broker‑dealer platform. You will review, approve, and maintain client accounts with precision, regulatory discipline, and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required and 3+ years in broker‑dealer, custody, or wealth operations.
• Active Series 24 license is required.
• Experience with introducing broker‑dealer or advisory‑led (RIA) models is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve new accounts, ensuring documentation and regulatory requirements are met before establishment.
• Perform supervisory review as a Series 24 principal, including exception approvals.
• Execute and oversee account maintenance, including ownership changes and beneficiary updates.
• Support complex account structures (trusts, estates, entities) and lifecycle events.
• Capture and maintain beneficial ownership, control persons, and tax documentation.
• Collaborate with Client Service and advisors to resolve inquiries and clarify documentation.
• Support inbound advisor requests with timely, accurate servicing for standard and non‑standard cases.
• Identify risk, documentation gaps, or inconsistencies per supervisory expectations.
• Assist with ACATS and non‑ACATS transfers with proper documentation and control.
• Coordinate across Cashiering, Transfers, and account operations; help stand up domain functions as the platform scales.
• Contribute to workflows, procedures, and controls across onboarding and maintenance.
• Leverage Salesforce and AI‑enabled workflows to improve efficiency and turnaround times.
• Maintain strong documentation and audit readiness across activities.
