Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking an experienced Officer, Account Operations Specialist to support core account lifecycle operations within the Wealth Custody and Clearing group. The role focuses on accurate onboarding, compliant maintenance, and high-touch advisor servicing, with opportunities to scale through automation and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

1) 3+ years in broker-dealer, custody, or wealth operations focusing on account lifecycle.
2) Experience with account onboarding, documentation, and lifecycle servicing.
3) Familiarity with AML/KYC, CIP, and regulatory requirements.
4) Experience with advisor-facing servicing models.

Responsibilities

Review new-account submissions for completeness and accuracy.
Perform operational review of new and existing accounts and obtain approvals.
Execute and support account maintenance, ownership changes, beneficiaries, and registrations.
Support complex account structures (trusts, estates, entities) and lifecycle events.
Assist with transfers, including ACATS and non-ACATS.
Develop and refine onboarding workflows and controls; ensure audit readiness.
Leverage Salesforce and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency.
Coordinate with Cashiering, Transfers, and Account Operations; review wire transfers.
