Job summary

State Street Investment Management in Massachusetts seeks a Client Onboarding Manager with institutional client experience to own the onboarding life‑cycle for NA relationships. You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Operations, and KYC to drive efficient onboarding and risk-aware processes.

Join a team focused on automation and scalable client interactions, reporting to the Head of Client Onboarding and Contracting in Boston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the investment management industry, working directly with institutional clients.
• In depth understanding of the Institutional marketplace and asset classes and investment product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a pipeline of client onboarding events, delivering a positive experience by meeting and exceeding client expectations.
• Work directly with clients, consultants, OCIO providers, and other external stakeholders to guide each deal through the event lifecycle.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal partners including Relationship Managers and Account Executives, Legal, Operations, KYC, Portfolio Management, and Billing, encouraging collaboration and positive onboarding event outcomes.
• Keep a diligent awareness of business risk and ownership of issues when they arise.
