Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Test Engineering Intern in Long Beach, CA. You will support the design, build and operation of test infrastructure for propulsion and fluids systems, from concept to flight.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are engineering students with at least one semester remaining, GPA 3.0+, and 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate engineering program and at least one semester remaining.
• GPA 3.0 or above required.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience in internships, labs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor to apply engineering concepts and grow skills.
• Contribute to test infrastructure design, build and operation tasks.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors to discuss progress and learning.
