Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks an Avionics Electronics Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00-10:30 PM) at the Federal Way site. You will perform testing, troubleshooting, repair and modification of electronic avionics equipment in FAA-regulated conditions, following workmanship and quality standards.

You will use SAP and MRO tools, read blueprints, align components, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet customer requirements and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a HS diploma or AA/AS with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Electronics background or education with 2+ years in manufacturing or service.
• Electronics maintenance industry experience or education required.
• Must have prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test equipment and perform troubleshooting and testing of electrical avionics gear.
• Follow procedures, blueprints and diagrams to meet specs and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot repair units and align advanced components per calibration procedures.
• Use SAP and MRO systems; collaborate with teams to complete projects on time.
• Communicate with technicians, engineering and leadership; support fast-paced workflow.
