Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer – CNS/TCAS in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on TCAS and CNS avionics across the full lifecycle of embedded systems, with 2-3 days onsite and relocation support. U.S.

Citizenship is required and the position offers hybrid work with contract-to-hire options. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in avionics systems engineering, experience with DOORs, and knowledge of DO-178C processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in avionics for aircraft and/or spacecraft systems.
• Full life-cycle experience on avionics embedded systems or software.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience analyzing and decomposing requirements in DOORs or equivalent requirements management databases.
• Experience developing low-level embedded systems for TCAS, transponders, CNS applications.
• Working knowledge of DO-178C processes and standards.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Decompose and trace customer requirements to high-level system requirements within DOORs.
• Perform formal reviews of system requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware/software integration teams.
• Support system validation, verification testing, and certification activities.
• Support System Safety Assessment (SSA) activities in accordance with ARP4761.
