Job summary

V2X, Inc. is hiring for a VX20 Work Center Supervisor to lead a maintenance shop on the Patuxent River, MD site. The role focuses on day-to-day avionics maintenance for E-2D platforms, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient scheduling.

The supervisor will coordinate a small team, provide technical guidance, and ensure training and PPE compliance while maintaining alignments with Navy 4790.2 standards and related programs.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Six (6) years’ experience in the aircraft maintenance environment.
• Experience with E-2D fixed wing aircraft avionics equipment, such as radar, communications, and navigation systems.
• Completion of specialized courses in aircraft structural repair is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a shop or group with day-to-day maintenance tasks on assigned E-2D avionics equipment.
• Assists in the operations of the maintenance departments per CNAFINST 4790.2 series.
• Ensures full and effective employment of assigned personnel.
• Ensures work is scheduled and performed safely and efficiently.
• Leads direct reports and ensures compliance with procedures and training.
