Job summary

V2X Inc is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance supervisor for the Patuxent River area. You will oversee daily maintenance tasks on rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, interpret technical data, and ensure safety and procedural compliance within an RDT&E program.

The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise, with emphasis on training, scheduling, and resource management in a defense environment.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• A&P license/FAA certification desirable but not required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD secret clearance.
• Experience with H-1Y/Z and H-60S/R platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a shop or group with day-to-day maintenance tasks.
• Interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical data to solve problems.
• Coordinate and direct work assignments for staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety and training requirements.
• Maintain compliance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series.
• Provide technical training and guidance to reports.
• Lead two or more individuals when required.
• Support RDT&E program at Patuxent River NAS location.
