Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing avionics units and aircraft systems, with a 3pm-1am schedule and a 10%-15% shift premium, plus paid lunch and weekly pay.

The candidate will perform installation/removal of panels, verify system performance, and support project management with customers. A high school diploma is required; electronics training is preferred and travel-ready

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and/or passport ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support items on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and evaluation of systems on the aircraft.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Aircraft movement and performance verification of systems.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Work with customer in project management, pricing and customer support roles.
• Work independently on projects.
• Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
