Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician for weekend shifts in Chattanooga, TN. The role entails troubleshooting and repairing avionics and aircraft systems, with a focus on component-level work and hands-on panel installation.

The position is on-site with a Friday–Sunday 6am–6:30pm schedule and includes a shift incentive. Responsibilities include diagnostics, inspections, and collaboration with customers on project scope and pricing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electronics or avionics factory training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units to component level (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot) and aircraft systems.
• Perform general avionics support items including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate and perform functional tests on aircraft systems.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components as assigned.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Work with customers in project management, pricing and support roles.
• Communicate clearly in English and work independently on projects.
