Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Avionics Install Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role focuses on leading a team through electrical, electronic, and instrument system installations and troubleshooting to deliver high-quality results.

The position requires extensive avionics installation experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while maintaining FAA compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical tech school.
• Aircraft specific factory training preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality, on-time results.
• Coordinate work flow and project management for multiple projects.
• Perform parts replacement, electrical troubleshooting, and FAA form completion.
• Provide customer contact and ensure effective communication.
• Supervise daily operations and on-site production.
• Maintain shop equipment and tools to support operations.
