Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Harness Design Engineer for the Mk1 Vehicle Electrical Harness Design team in Washington. You will develop wiring interconnect diagrams, harness assembly drawings, and installation drawings to support spaceflight hardware.

The role requires a BS in a technical field and 3+ years designing aerospace wire harnesses, with proficiency in Creo and Zuken. You will contribute to safety-critical aerospace systems and participate in design reviews.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field as listed.
• 3+ years designing wire harnesses for aerospace.
• Proficiency with 3-D CAD tools such as Creo, Zuken, Windchill.
• Understanding of wire derating and IPC/NASA standards.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical harnesses for power, RF, and data.
• Create wiring diagrams, 3D routed harness data, and installation drawings.
• Provide guidance for hardware installation and testing.
• Support trade studies and technical status reporting.
