Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer for the Core Avionics organization within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will contribute to avionics hardware products including flight computers, I/O units, embedded controllers, and related electrical hardware.

This is a hands-on role spanning requirements through production and sustainment. You will work with experienced engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to perform bench testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in design, build, integration, test, or verification of avionics hardware.
• Foundational knowledge of analog and digital circuits and basic troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with lab test equipment like scopes and meters.
• Familiarity with requirements, design reviews, and hardware verification/qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support development and lifecycle execution of avionics hardware under guidance.
• Perform hands-on hardware integration, testing, and troubleshooting with lab equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support fabrication, assembly, inspection, and acceptance activities; document discrepancies.
• Create and maintain engineering docs, test procedures, and verification evidence.
