Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an avionics hardware engineer to join the Core Avionics team within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will help define, test, and certify avionics hardware for Lunar Vehicles, spanning development to sustainment lifecycles.

Responsibilities include developing product requirements, interfaces, verification strategies, and root cause analyses to improve safety and reliability of C&DH and PMAD systems. Strong curiosity and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or other related field.
• Avionics hardware build and test experience.
• Complex hardware design experience in SRR, PDR, CDR.
• Knowledge of requirements development and verification.
• Familiarity with integrated systems verification and test reports for certification/qualification.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Support C/DH and PMAD Responsible Engineers in avionics box lifecycle development (EDU and flight hardware).
• Perform verification and qualification activities.
• Develop requirements and interface definitions.
• Conduct root cause analyses for hardware failures and mitigation plans.
