Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.
• Experience with digital electronics design principles.
• Schematic capture experience for creation of digital circuits.
• Printed circuit board (PCB) design layout experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, verify, support, and troubleshoot digital hardware for avionics products.
• Work closely with Systems, Software, Mechanical and Environmental Effects engineering roles, as well as Manufacturing Operations and Design-to-Cost staff to meet requirements across the product lifecycle.
• Perform activities that span all phases of the hardware development lifecycle including requirements capture, design, integration, verification, production transition, product sustainment, and customer interface.
