Job summary

RTX, through Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, is offering a full-time Electrical Engineering Co-op running January–July/August. You will develop digital hardware circuit boards for new avionics products and support existing lines, with emphasis on testing and integration in a cutting-edge environment.

The role focuses on circuit design, lab testing, and collaboration within the Displays, Controls, Computing & Networking Directorate to advance aircraft safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate and test Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers (Processors, FPGAs, Memory, high-speed interfaces).
• Operate lab equipment to perform integration testing on hardware designs.
• Schematic capture of digital/analog mixed signal electrical circuit designs.
