Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced electronics technician to support Edwards AFB flight simulator equipment. The role involves calibrating, maintaining, and repairing complex simulator systems and supporting equipment to ensure mission readiness for government contracts.

Applicants must meet DoD clearance requirements, possess related electronics training or degree, and have 2–5 years of hands-on experience with high-technology simulation devices in a defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in electronics or a two-year electronics tech program plus 4 years of military electronics maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, install, maintain, repair and test flight simulators and support equipment.
• Perform readiness checks and preventative maintenance on simulation systems.
• Troubleshoot and document malfunctions; update factory and internal documentation.
• Install changes and updates to simulators per engineering instructions.
• Assist with installation, checkout of modifications and general site activities.
