Job summary

CAE in Orlando, FL is seeking a Simulator Technician to maintain and troubleshoot simulators in our Parksouth training center. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and pre/post-flight tasks to ensure high readiness and safety.

Qualified candidates will have a 2-year technical degree, ~1 year of simulator experience in electronics/avionics or automated systems, and basic skills with test equipment and MS Office. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent training.
• 1 year of simulator-related experience in Electronics/avionics, automated systems or networking repair.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform preventive maintenance on simulators and related systems.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting routine simulator problems.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks on designated simulators.
• Run preventive maintenance and QA checks as assigned.
• Utilize the maintenance system to record activities.
• Provide customer service support and address needs promptly.
