Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a skilled electronics technician to support F16 flight simulators at Edwards AFB, CA. The role requires DoD security clearance with ongoing evaluation and adherence to government contract requirements.

You will calibrate, maintain and repair simulators, install updates, and perform readiness checks while documenting all maintenance actions. Candidates should have 2–5 years of relevant experience and a background in electronics maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent military training.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
• Must be able to obtain Edwards AFB program access.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, install, maintain, repair and test flight simulators and support equipment.
• Install changes and updates to simulators and support equipment.
• Perform readiness checks on flight simulation equipment and instruments.
• Document preventative maintenance and repair actions.
• Troubleshoot and repair simulators and support equipment.
• Assist with installation and checkout of simulator modifications.
• Work from engineering drawings and instructions.
• Apply knowledge to solve problems using manufacturer manuals.
