Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks an electronics technician to perform maintenance, calibration and repair on F16 flight simulators at Holloman AFB.

The role requires hands-on work on integrated multi-computer systems, video generation and display systems, and related peripherals. The successful candidate will calibrate, install and test equipment, conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults and document results, while following safety and security procedures and supporting equipment modifications as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in electronics or a two-year electronics technician program and/or 4 years of military electronics training.
• Must comply with DoD security requirements and obtain necessary program access for Holloman AFB.
• Current CompTIA Security+ Certification is required per job posting.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, install, maintain, repair and test flight simulators and related equipment at Holloman AFB.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and document results.
• Repair malfunctions and document maintenance data.
• Install changes and updates to simulators as required.
• Assist with installation and checkout of simulator modifications.
• Work with engineering drawings and follow written or verbal instructions.
