Job summary

Blue Origin in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking an Avionics Technical Designer to design and develop ruggedized electronics enclosures and sensor packages, create LRU drawings, and support trade studies.

You will collaborate with electrical, thermal, and structural engineers, apply GD&T, manage drawing releases in Windchill, participate in PDR/CDR, and help ensure aerospace material specifications compliance.

Qualifications

• AS degree in drafting and design or equivalent design experience.
• Proficient with Creo View and Windchill.
• Working knowledge of aerospace materials and treatments.
• Experience with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 / Y14.100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop 2D/3D models for ruggedized electronics enclosures.
• Create LRU and sensor installation drawings and ICDs.
• Apply GD&T and manage drawing release in Windchill.
• Collaborate with electrical, thermal, and structural engineers.
