This onsite leadership role requires a strong manager with proven program management, collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines, and a commitment to delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Successful leadership experience in developing certified flight deck displays is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, team building and leadership skills.
• Technical project management experience is highly desirable.
• Proven record of meeting objectives and commitments.
• Collaborative way of working and critical, innovative thinking.
• Demonstrated success in balancing system performance and affordability.
• Strong communicator, able to interface with the spectrum of individual contributor to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of engineers to ensure program commitments are met.
• Provide technical leadership for Displays team and ensure adherence to engineering processes.
• Support budget planning and staffing decisions.
• Balance product requirements with cost and schedule constraints.
• Contribute to roadmaps and engage with stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and drive delivery of avionics display initiatives.
