Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Leadership experience in developing certified aerospace products and managing significant technical projects.
• Demonstrated architecture creation with cross-domain collaboration for pursuits.
• Knowledge of Avionics regulatory and certification requirements: DO-254/DO-178B/C and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a display system architect, creating technical approaches aligned with product line foundations and customer expectations.
• Lead architecture and design of display products, interfacing with internal business units to meet project goals.
• Ensure compliance with Collins Consistent Engineering Processes and program/product requirements.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in avionics and contribute to the technology roadmap.
