The role acts as a key legal and contracting partner to guide strategy, negotiations, and risk management for avionics programs, collaborating with stakeholders to review complex agreements and respond to RFPs.

The position emphasizes compliance with FAR/DFARS, mentoring junior staff, and supporting sound commercial decisions while working remotely for US-based candidates.

Formación

• Experience with FAR/DFARS and export controls.
• Ability to lead negotiations and manage complex contracts independently.
• Demonstrated track record in aerospace/defense contracting.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary contractual advisor for assigned programs.
• Review, negotiate, and manage complex contract types.
• Evaluate RFPs, identify risks, and draft terms.
• Lead negotiations with legal and subject-matter experts.
• Provide strategic guidance on contract strategy and risk posture.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Mentor junior contract professionals and manage multiple contracting efforts.
