Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp is offering a Summer 2027 Avionics Associate Engineer position. This twelve‑week salaried internship invites recent graduates to work on hard problems and contribute to hardware/software used in space projects.

You will collaborate with avionics teams to build, test, and bring up flight hardware, write evaluation code, and gain hands-on experience across subsystems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• Willing to pursue a graduate degree after the internship.
• Experience with Python and/or C++ for software and testing.
• US Citizenship or Green Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the avionics engineering team to build and test flight hardware.
• Design test equipment to validate designs under stressed conditions.
• Bring up and debug designs in the lab.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of spacecraft hardware.
• Assist with low level software interfacing with spacecraft subsystems.
