Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is seeking an Avionics Intern for Winter 2027 to work with our avionics engineering team on flight hardware, testing, and software evaluation in a hands-on environment.

The intern will design test equipment, bring up designs in the lab, and contribute to software for performance evaluation and automated testing. Applicants should be pursuing EE/CE degrees and meet citizenship requirements, with opportunities to advance to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent).
• Interest in learning about spacecraft systems and subsystems with hands-on hardware experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++, with ability to design, build and test hardware.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card (per regulatory requirements).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the avionics team to build and test flight hardware.
• Design test equipment to validate designs under stressed conditions.
• Bring up and debug designs in the lab.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.
• Assist with low-level software interfacing with spacecraft subsystems.
